The Beginning

I met Tath several years ago by happenstance. My name is of little importance, and I'll go by Saki or Phoenix as they suits me the best out of the numerous nicknames I've had over the years. It doesn't matter - what does matter is that our relationship changed from a random meeting of souls over the internet and deepened into one of the strongest relationships I've ever had. We're more like sisters or soulmates over just friends. The word 'friends' doesn't describe it...and I don't know if we will ever have an adequate word for it.

That being said, we have our issues. Personally and Conversationally, but mostly the last one. It didn't take long for us to realize that our native language, English, was very different than the other's interpretation of it. After many confusing conversations, we decided to make a blog together about the differences in American (mine) and English (hers) culture.

So there you have it. We will be posting certain little tidbits about each other, odd experiences, and what not---just to keep track of the very different way of life we live.
